 Missing you

Tears come like the monsoon rain and drench 

the thirsty riverbed of my parched emotions. 

Lonely are the memories but sweet, of the years past
without my love to hold me steady.

My Earthy Shadow.

  My Earthy Shadow. I cast the longest shadow of myself against the setting sun on a bed of green grass, surrounded by flowers, and thorns, but there is no shelter for the homeless man. Well, this is the south far away from the freezing north, and I am happy to have mud on the torn soles of my shoes and I thank kind strangers for their alms.
