  My Earthy Shadow. I cast the longest shadow of myself against the setting sun on a bed of green grass, surrounded by flowers, and thorns, but there is no shelter for the homeless man. Well, this is the south far away from the freezing north, and I am happy to have mud on the torn soles of my shoes and I thank kind strangers for their alms. Very blue skies above me, the birds under the gentle clouds fly free, we all are under the heavens and have the mighty ocean beaches to walk on and cool our feet. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
