Inuit

Inuit .  The First People.

It's cold, it is very cold, it's colder than you think anywhere. I worry, about the Inuit and think of them often.

They are the only people I know, who live on the edge. We all know that they live in the most inhospitable climates in the world. where and when you make a mistake you suffer the consequences, immediately and directly. Inuit learn early survival, and hunting techniques regarding the caribou, seal, walrus, and the whale. They never talk to a lone stranger on the tundra, because the legends say he is the evil ghost.

When the Inuit cries out, who hears his anguished cries, not me or you. Only the pack dogs and the wolves that trail him. You got to take a minute out of your life and admire these mortal souls out there, under the heavens canopy of stars, dealing with whatever mother nature throws at them.

They trust in God, and in their God-given talents.

They have great memories, only in their dream do they find things that have been lost in our time, when they wake up they know things are not lost but are safe in their dream memories.

River of bitterness, now flows everywhere, the great heard of the reindeer has lost its way, the seals swim no more, and the walrus breath no more.

It is the season of the wolf!

Season of the wolf is the time when the prey becomes hunted and sometimes the hunter becomes the prey.

So dear brethren, pray for and bless the Inuit,  those few hardy souls are few and far between.

Pray that the caribou may return, the sea may be full of plenty.

God Bless you

May all be well with you  DMD
